As an innovator of Web technology, Akamai needed to have its Web site built at lightning speed, and launched with a splash.

	The site starts with an animated splash page built in Flash that highlights Akamai's key messaging.
	The billboard style homepage highlights news and network performance. The site was designed to mimic the portal style of many of Akamai's customer's sites.
	The site includes full bios of the management team.
	We customized our Site Administration Tool (SATellite) so that whenever the company is mentioned in the media, an Akamai representative can add the news story to the site. In turn, this news index page is automatically apdated.
